Tangier is situated at the extreme north west of Morocco. It overlooks the Atlantic Ocean and Mediterranean Sea. There are only 14 kilometres between the city and Europe. Therefore, it has a significant role linking European to African continents. Tangier has a rich history. With regards to economy, Tangier comes second after Casablanca. In this respect, tourism and construction industries are considered as the predominant sectors in the region.
